Full Version: Ongame table tilts SAT because of

hello,

I play Ongame on Betsafe, and when these tables open, they have an extra piece next to the table for commercial stuff/ chat. You can fold this extra part in to make the table a more normal/ workable size. But because this extra part makes the table another size than i want to play on, SAT tilts/hangs whenever the table opens.

Super annoying offcourse because my whole PC becomes unworkable, you see that SAT tries to resize the table over and over and the mouse moves a bit, that's it, besides that everything freezes.

Luckily now i know the ctrl-shft-alt-q :p

Any idea's?

Thanks!
With SaT off, if you collapse this extra part of the table, and then close the table, and then open a new table, does the part stay collapsed or is it expanded and visible?
Hmm i see what you mean. If i test with cashgame tables, it does stay collapsed for the next table...
until i reboot the client then it is back again.

So i will test if i collaps a cash game table first before i start playing, if this will make my tournament tables stay collapsed too, what would fix the problem.

It's still quite dangerous because if i accidentally click on the expand button with 20 tables open i still have a big problem because the problem makes it even hard for SAT to pick up the ctrl-shft-alt-q, even with only that 1 tilting table open i had to try 5 times and then it happen to take the shutdown shortcut.... plus afterwords i'd have to reboot SAT etc

Yep, this is the same solution that I used to recommend for ppl on OnGame when they would have trouble with their mouse cursor getting stuck

What version of SaT are you on? And what version of Windows?

Try downloading this test version:
http://www.stackandtile.com/sat/tmp/Stac..._Setup.exe

And expand the extra part of the table, and see if SaT can resize it and release the mouse correctly
2.81 i had

Downloaded and installed 2.81m, and it's the same, the expanded table 'hangs' SAT

Will read the other thread, thx
Well here is the problem. When you Include the site, SaT remembers the table size. So, if you Include the site with the extra region collapsed, then SaT will always try to make each table this same size when it opens. But, if this extra region is visible, then no matter what we do, the table will NEVER be able to get to that same size that was saved during Include Site setup, because the dimensions will always be bigger. That's why SaT gets stuck trying to resize it.

So, the solution I usually recommend is this. Before your session, open up 1 table from OnGame. Make sure the region is collapsed. Then press Start and allow SaT to resize the table correctly. Then CLOSE out this OnGame table. When you close the table, usually the OnGame client 'remembers' this last table size, and will open up all new tables this same size (and also with the extra region hidden). Then all new tables that you open, SaT will not need to do anything with them as far as resizing.

However, as you note, it will definitely be a problem if you mistakenly click on the button to expand the region.

Is it possible to hide that part of the table altogether? Maybe in the OnGame client options? I know iPoker has a setting to "Hide Widget Bar" which is a similar thing on the right of the table that can open up and offer casino options and stuff like that.

P.S. have I mentioned how much I hate OnGame? Sad
Hehe yes you have all the reason to, so thanks for still putting in the effort to help me.

I just asked the guys from the Livechat support, they asked the backoffice or whatever
responsible department, and there is no way they can more permanantly switch off the
extra part of the table.

So that leaves us with the solution of resizing/ preparing before we start.
(Or in the break before you want to open the OnGame table)

Not perfect, but definitely workable (indeed until you hit that one little wrong button one time
to cause massive tilt hahaha but ok that is a good practice in stress managememt lol)

Thanks!
