Hi SaT

Windows Defender found this virus in your software today.

Please get it fixed ASAP
This is annoying.

I'm on Windows 8.1, and I just downloaded the installer from the website and installed it, and Windows Defender allowed everything for me.

What version of Windows are you on?

I have had a couple of complaints recently. I have uploaded the installer to VirusTotal which uses 50+ different scanners to check a file. Only 3 of the 54 reported anything suspicious. The first are "ClamAV" and "AegisLab" which no one has ever heard of. The other is a McAfee variant which only reports something that "BehavesLike" a virus. But if you scroll down, the normal McAfee and 51 other scanners give it a pass.

You will also see a link to a post from 5 years ago where this issue was coming up with other virus scanners. I would continually have to submit the file for review, and the scanners would admit it was a mistake.

I would appreciate it very much if you could please submit the file to Microsoft at this link, and choose the 2nd option, "I believe this file should not be detected as malware". This will definitely speed up the process.

I got an email from someone on Windows 10 as well. They said they tried again today and it worked.

Can you please submit the file to Microsoft via that link?
