Hello,

I tried to upgrade to the newst version upgrade but im not able to.

I get a error message of windows that i don't have the "authorization" or "permission" i guess is best translated to go download the file.

I allowed the app under the windows firewall.

Never had the problem before.

thanks for ur help
Can you show a screenshot of the error msg?

Robert

Yeah Windows is saying that the file cannot be accessed for some reason. When do you get that error? When you try to click the installer? Or when you try to launch SAT with a shortcut?

I get the message once i try to download the new version. the oldversion works still fine.
When you try to download? Or when you try to Run the file?

Have you tried rebooting?

Can you clear out all the old setup files in your C:\Users\Matthias\Downloads\ folder? It looks like you have 19 existing SAT setup files in there

When you download the file, can you save it in a different location instead? Like try saving it to your Desktop instead of your Downloads folder

Robert

When i try to run the file. yes i have tried rebooting.

I've cleared all the setup files in the folder and saved it on the desktop. but still got the same message Sad
Its obviously some type of permissions problem in Windows. Have you changed anything recently? Are you running as a limited user, and saving the file in an adminstrator folder?

Can you try turning off your antivirus altogether and then see if it works?

or

Right-click the blocked file and then select Properties.
In the General tab, select Unblock if the option is available.

That message just means that the installer cannot overwrite the file, because you probably already have SAT running. All you should do is close out SAT first, and then try installing.

If you tried a few times, maybe you have an old SAT instance running hidden in the background, so you could try rebooting to make sure all SAT instances are closed out
