Ok great, thanks for coming back and updating. Can you show a screenshot of the option in PartyCaption that was interfering? Just in case other users have the same problem

It's 'table options' tab and then 'new tables size and position'. It's turned off by default, so I don't think anybody should have this problem.

Sorry man, thanks for checking back. I did look at it at the time, and I couldn't see anything that would be out of line. I don't know if its an SAT bug or a Party bug. If you want to leave your skype name, we can talk there, and maybe we can organize a teamviewer session. But you said the problem doesn't happen all the time, which makes it hard to find. It would be easier if the problem happened every time

I have 6 slots total including new table slot. Most of the time they are all full, what happens when new table pop up and all the slots occupied? I assume it goes to the stack and that's not the solution bc it will pop out in front of the ongoing decision.
If you are using New Tables = "grid", and the grid is full, then the table will just open up wherever Party would open it and it will stay there. Then once a grid slot is available, SAT will move it to that free slot. They won't go to the stack by default (but there is a setting to change where they can go to the stack if the grid is full).

If you are using New Tables = slot#, then new tables should always go to that slot and stack on top of each other.

Yeah sorry I'm just trying to understand the problem better. So you're saying that New Tables aren't going into the specific new tables slot #, but instead they are going into a free grid slot? But it only happens sometimes?

I do have a logging feature, but it doesn't log any information about New Tables, because I thought its pretty basic and shouldn't really have any problems like this. But maybe there is a bug I didn't see

Can you click File->Current Layout, and paste me everything?

I don't know. It never happens when I start the grid but at some time after.

Well there is nothing we can do about the PartyPoker popup bug on the first hand of a tournament, other than email them and tell them to fix it.

We can only try to work around it. Yes when SAT detects new tables, it first resizes the table, and then moves it to the New Tables Slot setting. You shouldn't use any hotkeys on the table until after the table resizes and gets moved to the slot. Maybe you can try using New Tables = 'grid' instead?

This is a PartyPoker bug. If you turned off the table popup options within Party, then the tables should never pop up, even on the first hand of a tournament. But it does. You should email Party and tell them to fix this. I already did, and so have other players.

(02-13-2020, 09:34 AM)daritari Wrote: So if it is in a stack it still pops up unpredictably and causes missclicks. So I assume 'new table slot' is kinda of a solution. But sometimes (or every time, not sure) when two or more new tables pop up they are put in a grid and not stacked in new tables slot. Sometimes even when 1 new table appears it wrongly put in a grid on top of a table which is already there. And that slot is not supposed to be a stack.
It depends what your New Tables setting is. If you set it to 'grid' then new tables will go to the next available grid slot. HOWEVER, if the grid is full, then there is no where for the table to go, and so SAT doesn't touch it, and the table stays where Party opens it.

If you set New Tables setting to a specific slot number, then that slot will hold all of your new tables in a stack and it is up to you to move them out (either to the stack or grid) with a hotkey.
