Yeah I believe knockout animations also cause that freeze. Sorry i forgot to mention that as well. So yeah that could be contributing

I can't say if the white banner causes the table to freeze.

Can you leave your email address just so I have it for reference?

I have some animations in space KOs, but I've disabled the regular PKO ones.

I had the bug happen just right now before the break, went to the hand history, and saw no player being eliminated in the previous hand. So I don't know if that's linked to the animations.
Although, having the banner on could freeze SaT's detection somehow, somewhat, somewhere?

Who knows...

Thank you for the update

So I've gotten a few emails from customers, and their problems are mostly always related to Winamax Espresso tournaments. From my testing, when the spinning animation happens during the start of the tournament, the table "freezes" programmatically and then SAT is unable to scan the table's graphics to determine when action is required. And this only happens when the table is in the background and completely covered by other tables. The table "unfreezes" when the table becomes even partially visible again and then SAT is able to scan the table again

I don't know if this has any relation to your issues, but I just wanted to note it here in this thread for reference

Hello,

It's been a while! I got quite used to this issue now, but yesterday I had a theory pop up in my head.
Winamax often displays a white text on black banner (e.g. XX has finished tournament in YYth place, You'll change table next hand, etc).

I remarked that one of those banners was present when the bug occurred, so I thought I'd post here just in case it would be a decent lead.

That being said, I saw a table being normally brought to the grid with the banner on, so it's not a super reliable thing.
But that's all I've got unfortunately.

Hi, I've looked at yesterday's session and documented every occurrence.
I don't see any reliable pattern:


1. New tournament, CO RFI. 1 other Winamax table tiled, no action required. PS, iPoker and Wina tables stacked, none active.

2. BTN vs HJ, 2 other Wina tables tiled, 1 with action required.

3. New tournament, first hand, LJ RFI. No other tables tiled.

4. HJ RFI, 2 other Wina tables tiled, w/o action required.

5. BB vs BTN, 2 Wina / 2 iPoker tables tiled, 1 action required. (The 2nd iPoker table was tiled immediately after with action required)

6. SB vs BTN, 2 Wina / 1 ipoker tables, no action required.

7. HJ RFI, 2 Wina tables tiled, 1 action required

8. New tournament, CO vs HJ, no other table tiled

9. SB vs BTN, 1 PS / 4 Wina tables tiled, no action required

10. CO vs HJ, 1 PS / 1 Wina tables tiled, 1 action required

11. CO RFI, 2 wina tables tiled, no action required

I've cut the video recording to a 30s one showing a specific occurrence.
I've contacted you on Skype with the shortened log and video.

The issue arises when I use the latter.
the Play Mode is a setting on the Layout tab.. but yes I was curious if you were using Stack and Tile mode

If you use the menu item for Help->Logging, it will log this information and much more. But for an issue like this it also helps to cross reference what we actually see on the table. Like for example, maybe the first hand of the tournament, you were in BB and it got checked around, and you could check for free? Maybe thats the scenario where this problem always happens? Etc. The log file won't be able to know that

Not necessarily, I've had it happen 8 times tonight, and once it was the very first hand of a Winamax tournament, which started when all other tables were still on break.
I will review the footage tomorrow, even though I don't think I'll find a convincing pattern.

If you could provide a custom version that writes a log each time a table becomes active, with the timestamp, that might help
