Action buttons dont work - Guest - 11-01-2022
Hi,
For the last weeks I had a problem with my BCP tables.
They pop up when its my turn, all working fine but sometimes when I click on one of the buttons (fold,call,raise, doesnt matter) there is sort of a delay/it doesnt do the clicked action. But when I click outside of the table or in the middle of the table and THEN the button, the action will be made (like "call" for example).
This was only a BCP problem for weeks but now this problem occurs on all sites (stars, party, betonline, GG).
Additional to the mentioned problem that it sometimes doesnt do what I clicked, it sometimes disappears in the grid for like 2 seconds after I clicked a button (WITHOUT doing the action) and then pops out again.
This means I sometimes have to click 3-4 times on one table for ONE action to finally get it through, which makes it close to impossible to play a regular session.
I am playing under the newest version of SaT, I deleted and reincluded the mentioned sites in stack and tile too.
Please help ?

Hmmmm, so my original thought was that you need to make sure that you have the settings inside SAT Advanced Options for "Try to send WPN/Aurora clicks without using mouse" turned OFF.
You can find these settings by going to the Settings menu -> Advanced Options -> Sites tab
However, I don't see those lines inside your layout config file. So I would guess that they are already turned off. Can you confirm?
Do you use any other poker helper software that might send clicks to the table or hotkeys?

yes you are right they were already turned off.
The only thing I use is pokertracker 4.

Its weird, because a few players have reported this issue in the past, but they had those advanced options turned on, and turning them off fixed it.
But also, you aren't even using any hotkeys inside SAT to send any clicks to the table. It looks like you must be using your mouse to take all your actions. So I wouldn't think this should be a problem for you.
Inside PokerStars settings, can you tell me if you have "Single Click Table Activation" turned on? You can find it on this page:

And if is on, can you toggle it off, or vice versa, and see if that solves this problem for you?

Well, about a year ago, one of Stars updates was causing problems like this for players, even not using SAT. Customers from other poker helper software were noticing it to. It was assumed to be a Stars bug. It was even reported on 2p2 in the Stars thread:

I had a suspicion that the problem that Stars caused was also leaking towards other sites. You would think that that shouldn't be possible. But if a Stars table captures the mouse click and somehow doesn't release it because of a Stars bug, then you would notice clicks not being registered in other poker sites, or any other app altogether.
As of right now I don't have any immediate solution ideas. But if you can try using Carbon Beta theme inside Stars (and then re-Including in SAT), and let me know if that fixes it
Actually one other thing you can try, inside SAT Advanced Options, try turning ON "Activate/focus table under mouse". This should focus each table as soon as you hover your mouse over, which may force the table to recognize mouse movement earlier and maybe fix it.
Keep me up to date with what you try and what works or not

after I unticked the stars "box" with the Single Click Table Activation and the activated it again, now tables work somewhat smooth....I play the session and see how things go...I let you know if the forementioned advises of you dont work or there are still problems.
