Sorry if this was answered before, couldnt find it in the forums:
I will buy a new notebook and the OS will be Windows 8, will SaT run on W8 without problems or is it safer to install W7?

I would guess that SaT would work fine on Windows 8. I'm pretty sure that Win8 is backwards compatible. I haven't heard anything about Win8 breaking compatibility with old programs. There probably would have been articles everywhere.
Unfortunately I haven't gotten a chance to test it yet myself. But I don't think you should worry.
