Where is the "mute side notifications" button? And what does it do?

When the notifications menu is toggled on, there is a switch at the bottom that turns green when you flip it . This sets the notifications to be permanently off as long as you sit at the table. It's called "mute side notifications".  Normally you have to toggle the notifications menu on, then press that button, and then toggle it back off for each table right after you sit down. Automating that would be great, even if you just added an additional hotkey for the "mute side notifications". Automating the whole thing would be better obviously.

And closing the entire notifications sidebar is not sufficient to hide/mute that stuff?

No. The "mute side notifications" button has to be pressed (using a mouse at this point) before you toggle the menu off.

Not sure if I understand the question, but shutting off notifications is a 2-step process. First you toggle "on" the notifications menu, then you go down and click "mute side notifications" with your mouse. Then you toggle the menu back "off". Your toggle switch , as far as I can tell, doesn't eliminate the need for a mouse click to make the process complete. It's not a big deal. I'm just saying that if it's possible, adding a "mute side notifications"  hotkey would make sense.

I guess what I'm asking is, what are those "notifications" to begin with? I thought that notification sidebar was just for the chat window and some casino game stuff

I prefer to play on the official website of the online casino Selector https://selectorkasino.site/. than poker. After all, playing slot machines, you don't need a lot of experience and skills to earn money, so I can recommend the official website of the online casino Selector to all beginners.
