At the start i was using move table to next slot and move table to previous slot (that's when you see the tables moving back and forth before posting any blinds).

I then use stack table, to put the table in to the stack.

After that (when i've finally posted my blinds) the first hand where I am btn, i try pressing bet 2.25bb (1 keystroke) after that I'm not sure the exact hotkeys i was pressing, but it was a mixture of key strokes 1,2 and 3 and the hotkeys were Bet 2.25bb, Bet 2.5bb and Bet 3bb

im using 2.85 now and when its my turn to act table stays in stack (when i slide with the mouse over one of the buttons fold/call etc, without clicking, it goes to grid though)"

i downloaded the 2.86 Version yesterday, am using windows 7 and it worked with 888PacificPokerQT but only in play money CG.
Can u plz contact me via skype, this is getting frustrating --> travis.....thewin (edited)

For anyone reading or searching, this was solved by creating a new layout with a grid slot size based off of the 888 dimensions. See Solution#4 here:

Sorry,

I was away for the week. It doesn't happen on other sites (works fine on stars). I don't really use any other hotkeys, only Move to stack, which works fine and cycle stack forward and backwards which also work fine.

I just updated to the new version of SAT and re did the config for 888 but am still having the same issue. I've made a video showing exactly what happens.

It shows my using the cycle + stack hot keys fine, then around 1.50 I try using the bet sizing hotkeys.

Just to give you an update, I tested it and I did reproduce this problem on my machine. I have no idea whats going on. I will post again when I figure it out.

Ok I've found the problem.

So when you were pressing the "Bet X bb" hotkey, SaT was sending the betsize. But when SaT sent those numbers, it was ALSO triggering your other "Move table to Slot #X" hotkeys, because those keys were set to other numbers. For example, if you were at a 1/2 blinds table, and you pressed your "Bet 3bb" hotkey, then SaT would try to send the number "6" to the betbox. But, because you have your "6" key set up as a hotkey to "Move table to slot 6", then SaT was moving the table. The reason this changed in the recent versions, was because of the new 888 client. With the old client, SaT could programmatically manipulate the betbox to the correct amount. The new 888 client doesn't allow this, so instead we have to simulate it by first sending a mouseclick to the betbox to focus it, and then sending keystrokes.

So, I've created a fix so that when SaT sends the numbers for the betsize "Bet x BB" hotkey, those numbers no longer trigger the other SaT hotkeys.

Please download and install this test version v2.86c:

im using the hotkey "fold and stack table"

now the 888 table pops up when the hand IS DEALT, and when i use the hotkey to fold before i am the one to speak it stays in the grid. When its my turn to act the table switches inside the grid to the next free slot till it reaches slot 2 (the first non stack slot). When i use the hotkey (or manually fold) to fold the hand in slot 2, it stays in slot 2. I have to use the hotkey again on the table to move the table into the stack.

Other sites work fine, like stars or party.

What version of Windows are you on?

Can you try creating a New Layout again, but use the default 888 table size for your grid slot size, just as a test? When you create the New Layout, and it asks you to press F7, first resize an 888 table to the default size. You can do that by clicking the "Table options" button in the upper right of the table, and then "Cascade". Then press F7 on the table. Then Include the site and test and let me know the results
