High CPU usage
#1
I'm playing SNG's on Partypoker, Chico and WPN and when I have more than 20 tables open CPU usage reaches 80%+ which makes grind a pain, since it takes a few seconds buttons to appear and take an action. With 15 tables open it reaches ~30% and everything works good. I made a test to see how SaT affects on CPU usage and without playing (only watching ~20 tables) it increases ~15% CPU as you can see on this video:

I already tried changing Graphic Settings as described on https://www.stackandtile.com/sat/help/performance but not much succes. Also, I could not find "Scan Mode" since my SaT is a bit buggy (options overlap each other):

SaT config overlap

My laptop config:
i7, 16GB RAM, GTX 1050Ti, 128GB SSD laptop (Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52-72UU)

That performance help page is a bit outdated. I need to update it. Did you try the setting at the very bottom of the Performance help page?

So, whether youre actually seated or not, SAT would still use the same resources, since it is still scanning the tables looking for the fold/call/bet buttons to determine if action is required. Unfortunately I think this CPU usage is just a side effect of how SAT works and I'm not sure what can be done

The options overlap is just a visual bug, likely because of your high resolution monitor. You can download the "beta highDPI" version on the downloads page and that will fix that. However, some people have said that that version lags too, so that might not help your CPU issues. But it can't hurt to try.

Is your cooling fine with your laptop? If your laptop has high temps it could affect the CPU as well.

You could use Battle Encoder Shirase. to limit your CPU usage : http://mion.faireal.net/BES/
Here's a video of Scrimitzu's tutorial on how to use BES: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxulmSOTFxM

I hope this could help your system run smooth.
