I understood your post the first time. You have 4 slots, so assuming that all grid slots 2,3,4 were already full, and Table B was in the bottom of the stack and required action, SaT is supposed to bring that table to the top of the stack by default.
But, I found your problem in your config:
You must be a long time user. This was an old setting that used to be configurable in the Advanced Options. I have since removed it because I always want it on by default. Perhaps you had set this to 0 a long time ago. Change that setting to 1, and then save the config file, and reload SaT. Then test it out. It will work. Or you could even remove that line completely, and then SaT will revert to always having it on by default.
