problem with hands getting folded automatically

last few days i am facing some problem while playing sngs on stars

after villan bets my hand is getting folded automatically without me pressing any key

i am not using star hotkeys and only using SAT hotkeys

i mailed stars

For last few days i am getting some problem with a issue while playing sngs

Some of my hands are getting  fold automatically within milisecond after villian bets even though i havent press any key or seen any betting box FOLD/CALL/RAISE

First i thought its because of some hotkey but just now it happen again when i was playing without any software for multitabling or any hotkeys

same here on flop i didnt do anything and its folded automatically once villian bets

Same thing happen last few days also but i thought its because of some hotkey but today with hand K2 i was playing without any software and it happen again

Please look into the matter urgently why it happen and from where the problem is coming from

according to stars i have clicked on check/fold button which i didnt

mistake can happen once or twice but not more then 10 times in last few days and also when i was playing only two tables my hand folded when i didnt do anything

How long is the 'last few days'? Did you upgrade to the newest SaT version and then it started? Or did it happen previously too?

When you say you "didn't do anything", does that mean that you just allowed the tables to pop up? You didn't press any mouse button, you didn't press any SaT hotkey right before?

Looking at your email that you sent to PokerStars, you said that you've tried this without any software? I take that to mean that this problem still occurs even when SaT is off and not running? Its smart of you to test that. Because if so, then it can't be a SaT problem.

Last few days while playing using with SAT i had few hands folded automatically

I was confused why it happen,i thought may be because of my miss click
but when it start happning few more times like 6,7 it made me worry

yesterday one hand when sat was running again my hand folded on river within milisecond without me pressing any key

after that i stop SAT and few min later in 1 hand on flop again it happen

after that i mailed stars

i asked one of my friend he told me it can be because of some 3rd party hotkey like SAT which may be causing this even though it was not running i may have to reinstall pokerstars

i have no idea from where it is coming from

i also think if SAT is not running how can SAT hotkey can do such an error

please help me out what i need to do

Yeah, if SaT is off, then SaT cannot send any hotkeys.

Did this happen before you updated to the latest SaT version 2.69? Because I only put that update out a few days ago. Maybe after you downloaded it, it started happening? Do you remember if it started after this?

When you say "folded automatically", what exactly happened? Were you just sitting there doing nothing with the mouse and keyboard? Or did you use a "Fold+Stack" hotkey on one table, and then maybe another table folded also?

You said it happened 6-7 times. Was that 6-7 per day? Or 6-7 total over the few days?

I would recommend you do some more testing, with SaT turned off and not even running, and see if it still happens or not.

You can also go back to the old version of SaT, v2.68, by going to the download page and clicking on the old version download. And see if that fixes it.

Please keep me updated because this is a big problem if SaT is at fault.

For SaT's "Fold" and "Fold+Stack" hotkeys, with the new version 2.69, SaT tries to click both advanced action checkboxes: Fold and Check/Fold. I just ran a test using your table size, and I pressed the "Fold" hotkey in SaT. Here was what my log file looked like:

So you can see that two clicks were sent, and the second click was the one that clicked the Check/Fold advance action box. However, you can see that the coordinate that SaT clicked (413,476) was different than the coordinate shown in your log files (466,469). Which makes me think that something else is clicking it, not SaT.

Also, in my log file you can see that I pressed the hotkey twice, and both times the same exact coordinates (413 x 498) and (413 x 476) were clicked. You should look at your log files and see if the same coordinates for yours are being clicked every time. If the coordinates are the same, then you can investigate that its some hotkey program that may be the problem, since computer programs always do the same thing (such as SaT). If the coordinates in your logs are different every time, then that would mean its more likely to be your mouse clicks, because a human isn't going to click the exact same spot every time.

Please note, that the 'check/fold any' option is not a button, but a little check box on the left hand side of the table window.

Please also note that the client will not create any action without user input, the only exception to this is when the system folds your hand on a time out.

Your mouse click into the check box is clearly registered as mentioned in our previous reply, and so the preselection was made.

Please note that similar errors may occur for different reasons, like disconnections, that may alter the gameplay and could be perceived as system errors, but they happen due to external reasons.

Finally, we confirm that it is impossible for our software to take action without any user input, and as you can see, all mouse clicks are registered in the corresponding window pixels ((466,469) in your case), even when an action is not made and the clicks are made on 'empty' space, they will still be registered.

You would have to look through the log files yourself, but its a pain. Besides, it looks like PokerStars confirmed it in their reply below, that it always clicks on (466,469)

Ok if the problem has happened for 4-5 days, but you only updated SaT yesterday, then my guess is that the problem has nothing to do with the new version of SaT.

If you didn't press any right mouse hotkey, then again I don't think SaT is sending any other clicks.

I wouldn't think so. Something is specifically sending clicks to your Stars tables. This is a pretty big problem for you so you should seriously do some testing to find out what is causing it. I would recommend not playing for big money or not playing for real money at all until you find out what is the issue. I would try playing many sessions, and one by one, remove only ONE piece of poker software. So, play a session and don't open SaT. See if the problem is gone. If not, play another session, and this time leave PT/HEM closed and see if the problem is gone. Etc. Its gonna be hard because you said it only happens 10 times in 5 days, so thats like only 2 times per day. So it may not happen often. Then when you find out which program is at fault, you can complain to them. Since you said that the problem still happened when SaT was off, then I assume that SaT isn't the problem. But please confirm that again.

Thats my suggestions. Also consider that some type of virus or malware could also be the issue. That is also something to think about although less likely.

After reinstall pokerstar i again faced the problem once in a session so I degrade to 2.68 and removed the 'Fold + Stack' hot key to just Stack = RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON

and so far its working normal and didnt have any auto fold
