Hrmmm.. yes it must be reading the background as the same as the fold button.
Try this, open up your config file, with File->Current Layout
Directly under the [settings] line, add the line color_variation=4
So it will look like this:
Leave the other settings in tact. Save the file and restart SaT and try again. If it still fails, try using color_variation=0 save and restart again. The default variation I think is "32" which allows a decent amount of difference in shades of colors. So we are going to try to lower the allowed difference and see if it works.
