I just tested it on a Play Money rebuy tournament
From the looks of it, this would only occur if you don't have the Auto Rebuy buttons checked at the bottom. So, if those are off, then when you bust, you get a popup asking you to rebuy. However, for me, the table DID move out of the stack and into the grid anyway. Look at this image:

As shown above, when you bust, FTP shows a "Rebuy" button in the third button location at the bottom right of the table, where normally the Bet/Raise button would be. SaT sees this button, and thinks that action is required (thinking the Bet button is visible), and moves the table into the grid.
However, the rebuy popup ( http://i.imgur.com/rYGGBfy.png ) seems to be random as to where it is located. Its possible this could be hidden under the stack somewhere.
