I have not done any testing with running multiple instances of SaT. I have had a few users run 2 copies at the same time, but I don't think anyone has tried 3 or 4 before. It doesn't surprise me that you are running into some issues.
SaT is a fairly cpu intensive program, so I can definitely see that it might slow down your computer. Similarly with the "move to next/prev slot" hotkeys. I'm curious though, did you set up all the hotkeys the same, with the ~ prefix?
Finally, it is a good idea to test this kind of stuff when you are not playing a real session. Very smart.
